From stepping on the airplane to going to sleep in New Zealand approx. 36 hours have passed. I'm pooped...calling it a night before anyone else I do believe. They'll regret it in the morning I'm sure! Wier house tour and Botanical gardens tour tomorrow.
But before I pass out at only 9 pm local time, which is only a light dusk by the way, I'll throw in a couple random happenings/thoughts/somethingerothers.
- It started snowing on our plane as we taxied out...so lucky to make it
- Urban Sprawl is never so evident or depressing as when in an airplane
- the ozone really is thinner here....just ask my 'its only 60 degrees, partly cloudy, and a little exploring' sunburn.
- I take back everything negative I ever said about Brittain. It can get worse...really...I just ate there.
- kiwis, lollies, and biscuits oh my!
- Pin numbers are a very important detail
And finally,
-Leaving you're camera on during the entire 36 hr travel time means no pictures of day oneeeeeee.
***I managed to lock myself out of my room during the 6:30 am bathroom run. Not the way I envisioned meeting my RA***

Packing in Progress
Almost packed...in a few days I'll make of list of all the things I forgot! Quick...any last minute suggestions/reminders?
My wardrobe for the next three months...it's a good thing I don't mind repetition. And I've never noticed how most of my shirts are cooler colors.
Luckily for me, the sheep over there don't like high-maintenance.
This suitcase is carry-on size almost and I fit in everything shown above. Yes, I am amazingly efficient at packing. Now to fit all my academics/entertainment into my bookbag.
The Penultimate Day
It's a little past 1pm the day before I leave for New Zealand. Not packed yet but I'm not worried...Tech as honed my procrastination abilities too much for me to sweat over something like this. I am a bit worried about the weather though...there's a possibility of snow starting tomorrow at noon and my plane leaves at two. Oh well...New Zealand isn't going anywhere anytime soon so I'll try not to stress.
Now to start packing!
Now to start packing!
